Self-help Techniques to avoid Rapid Climax and Last Longer Between Sheets
Friday, September 16th, 2011Are you unable to control your orgasm as long as you want during sex? Has your partner hinted that she wish you could have lasted longer? When it comes to penetrative sex, there is a vast disparity in the time it takes for men and women to reach an orgasm. For an average man, about 5- 10 minutes is all it takes from start to finish. While most men are not naturally endowed with the ability to control ejaculation, there are specific strategies you can use to avoid premature ejaculation:
Anchor your breathing
During sexual intercourse, many men end up holding their breath or breathe rapidly, which can likely compel their body to ejaculate quickly. They should instead anchor the way they breathe. Here’s one specific breathing technique, you can practice to delay ejaculation. Inhale slowly and count to 5, when you are having intercourse. Hold your breath for another count of 5 and then exhale. Repeat this breathing, whenever you feel your arousal rising too quickly during sex, it can help you last longer in bed.
Muscular conquest
PC (pubococcygeus) muscle is one of the muscles located within the pelvic floor (between testicles and anus). This area where pelvic floor is located, contracts involuntarily, during an ejaculation. There are specific exercises known as Kegel’s that can be practised to strengthen this muscle for premature ejaculation treatment. Simple relaxation and contraction techniques can help control involuntarily contractions to prolong ejaculation. Apart from these, you can practice stop-and-start technique to prolong your sexual sessions. It involves stopping all physical stimulations when you are about to
reach orgasm and then start again, once the urge to ejaculate passes.
